Too broke for beauty boxes?

You can go to Walgreens and ask for samples at the beauty counter and get them for free ^w^ They do tend to run out, especially at Christmas and around holidays but they usually get new samples every week, sometimes twice a week. Here's a shot of what they gave me today.

Sometimes they give out makeup. I've gotten samples of the L'Oreal Lumi foundation before but I don't know how often they get cosmetic samples. They usually have skincare and drugstore hair care items. I'm not so much for the hair care but I do love the skin care items. Last time I went they had clinical dove deodorant to give out. So if you ever go in there or you pass by one, then stop in and ask if they have any :)

  1. Thank you for the heads up! I know to walk in during their Saturdates, but I had no clue. I am in good with my local cosmetic counter lady (small wonder) and I will ask her next time I go!

    1. She should have offered them to you then! Usually they'll tell you about them, especially if you're chatty with them. Just go in and ask if they have any :) And it's always fun because you never know what they have or how much and the best part is you don't have to buy anything! But I try to buy something as not to feel like I'm just using them :P As someone who works in a salon I would tell you to go in there and ask for samples because we usually have them but those are usually reserved for customers who purchase something and they run out within a week or so and we don't get any until 2 months later unless we buy them which can be $3 per sample, and well I'm not made of money or I'd be stocking up on free samples for my clients. But you can ask your stylist if they do have any kind of free sample you can try after you get a cut :)
